I am just so addicted, uni holidays have turned me into a downloading, tv watching, obsessive over character relationships maniac.
Right now I am loving...
Greys Anatomy (Christina & Burke awww)
The O.C (Can't believe this is almost done)
Heroes (Swore I would hate it, but its grown on me)
Prison Break (Ya ....hot)
Lost (would like it better if it didn't take such long breaks)
Desperate Housewives (scandelous!)
So I have been busy downloading everyyyything. busy busy busy.

"When it comes to relationships, maybe we're all in glass houses, and shouldn't throw stones. Because you can never really know. Some people are settling down, some are settling and some people refuse to settle for anything less. Than butterflies... "
-Carrie
I love how satc has become timeless. No matter how much I mature and move forward in my likes and dislikes, it is always in style. Perhaps it is because the characters I look up to so much are twice my age, or perhaps it is because it is such a fantastic source of wisdom for women of any age. It is amazing how Carrie's quirky fashion statements will always be in fashion, unlike many other fashion statements from the 90s that have quickly been erased from our memories by our better judgements.
So many complete series of television shows I think that I love are watched once and then there is no interest in ever watching them again. They get old to me, or I get bored with the storylines. These can be shows I obsess over and yet once I have seen what happens, the buzz is gone. Satc never seems to age and I can watch the same episodes over and over and over without ever feeling bored. Further, even though I know exactly what happens- when I watch it this awareness seems to fade away and it all becomes new and shiny.
It is the perfect mood elevator. It is pulled out and dusted off whenever I feel happy, sad, lonely, depressed and hyper. The negative feelings never stay negative and the positive feelings soar even higher.
Matthew Broderick has confirmed a satc movie on the Ellen show. Break out the Cosmopolitans! I can't wait!

No Way. The Hundred Is There.
The child is made of one hundred. The child has a hundred languages a hundred hands a hundred thoughts a hundred ways of thinking of playing, of speaking A hundred always a hundred ways of listening of marveling of loving a hundred joys for singing and understanding a hundred worlds to discover a hundred worlds to invent a hundred worlds to dream. The child has a hundred languages (and a hundred hundred hundred more) but they steal ninety-nine. The school and the culture separate the head from the body. They tell the child: to think without hands to do without head to listen and not to speak to understand without joy to love and to marvel only at Easter and Christmas. They tell the child: to discover the world already there and of the hundred they steal ninety-nive. They tell the child: that work and play reality and fantasy science and imagination sky and earth reason and dream are things that do not belong together.
And thus they tell the child that the hundred is not there. The child says: No way. The hundred is there.
